Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory is the same thing as Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun, but considering the searches made, I needed to make two separate ones so you pervs could find either of them. This is a ten episode show that aired in 2021. Each episode is 25 minute long. It based of the magna by Ikumi Hino of the same name that started publication in 2017.

Twelve-year-old Koushi Nagumo’s life suddenly goes downhill when his father abandons him after their house burns down. Left to fend for himself, Koushi collapses on the street, but an eccentric woman named Mineru Wachi takes pity on him and brings him to the female dormitory “Megami-ryou.”

After learning of Koushi’s situation, Mineru, who happens to be the temporary manager, invites him to become Megami-ryou’s official dormitory mother. However, what awaits him are the dorm’s residents—each with their own wacky shenanigans—like the androphobic yet gentle Atena Saotome, the feminine tomboy Kiriya Senshou, and Mineru herself, whose recklessness knows no bounds when it comes to science. Despite this, Koushi does his best to fulfill the duties of this crazy new life!

Some hanimes are made only and just only for the targeted audience. Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory is one of those hanime. Considering that the very first shot of Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory features three of its characters stark-raving nude in the bath, some would argue if that sight alone would either raise or lower a viewer’s interest. After all, many harem anime use fan-service to keep its viewers attention, especially those that have bland storytelling. However, merely tuning out just because of its first scene does the series a disservice. In fact, as Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory progresses, one will find something surprising about its narrative.

I found one DVD, and the streaming service.
